Hilltop Nursing Home was begun in 1956 by Shelley and Rowena Dunn.
The original nursing home was in a three story apartment building, previously used as a hospital under Dr. Dyers’ care. As tenants came and went, the long term tenants came to be some elderly gentlemen who had no one to take care of them.
